Metallics Challenge closed for submissions, open for voting...

The metallics challenge is now closed for submissions. I didn't have that many metallics to share, so a big thank you to elmey and archersangel for the truly excellent turnout.

(OTOH, I did manage to purchase a pair of yellow heels in Amsterdam, and barely resisted buying a pair of yellow Dr Martens from a vintage shop. Apparently, I'm still stuck on yellow.)

The winners for the Yellow Challenge are Poetic Licence Backlash in the category of most want to wear/own, and the Christian Louboutin Open Toed Pump for general awesomeness.

Me too! And to think I thought silver was too flashy for me... this challenge has been really educational. ;)

The votes are all over the place again. I like that! I knew which shoe I wanted to wear this time, but had a really hard time with the second category.

I had a hard time with the first category. I was most tempted by the Elisenero moccasins, but realistically, they might look cooler than anything I own, but they aren't really me so even if I owned them I probably wouldn't wear them.
