Some Ankle Boots and Pete Wentz

There are classy, brown ankle boots that I know I should buy for work, like these Rhythm boots by Robert Wayne:

I'm still holding out for the perfect brown Oxfords as well... For some reason brown shoes vex me every time. I know I can't wear black with everything, but I have had no problem finding black brogues, black loafers and short black boots that I adore. I can never find brown ones I like, though I have bought two pairs of brown loafers that I thought might be "good enough" and weren't.


These are the brown ankle boots I sort of wish I could pull off, but know I can't. I am not quite flashy enough for these, but that doesn't stop me from admiring them.

I would not have even know that was Pete Wentz if the picture was not labeled, but oh my god, those boots. There was no info on where they're from. Does anybody recognize them or can you recommend something similar? I've been thinking off and on about something motorcycle-boots-ish for a year now and this may be the look that sends me over the edge.

I always find myself attracted to far more black shoes than brown, especially with boots. Have no idea why, except maybe I like black better as a color?

Those actually look a lot like... whatever is that called in English.. Like leggings? You strap them on top of your shoes/legs and they're in everything from knitted to leather and latex. Some boots have been designed like a fake legging on top of the boot - in my first post I think? (Yup. Irregular Choice - Spit Spot)

Wish I recognised the shoe so I could help out but alas no.

Lovely shoes alltogether though :)
