Red or Dead boots, classical style

I went with two pairs of Red or Dead today. Classical style riding boot and Edwardian style boot, both really lovely.

Love both of these so much. Especially... Ohhhhh, I have a thing for high-button boot styles.

Tally ho *indeed.* Man, my riding boots never looked as awesome as those.

Hahahaha - mine neither, but then I never was the type to wear leather riding boots. Too much mud and too much scuffing of toes and horses stepping on my feet to even bother iwth such fancy footwear. Steeltoed boots and hardy thick soles that can take the mud and I'm happy.

That would have been me, but I rode eventing-style, which meant I needed the fancy boots for the dressage, if nothing else. I even kind of got to like them, after a while. But the last couple of years I was riding it was all bareback, and then I was usually just throwing on a bridle and taking off in the jeans and docs I'd worn to school, so I'm kind of right there with you.
