Hot pink (and some black/grey under cut) numbers for Maundy Thursday

I had a friggin fabulous time to see Adam Lambert live. His voice OMG. Recordings doesn't do it justice. Also met some nice fans. Didn't get a chance to meet the star Hisself though, the meet & greet was invite only and later I was too damn polite to interrupt his dinner with Swedish Idols et al. (or was that cowardice? other fans did it...)

The pink shoes are super-cute, and sort of give off the "grown up Mary Janes" vibe, as if they should be worn with a white Easter dress with marvelous cleavage.

I have to admit, though, I don't understand the "bastard lovechild of a boot and a strappy heel" look. Is this for people who like their feet but not their ankles? Who need a little more ankle support with their low clunky heel? WHY does the first one have zebra-striped ankles and plain white straps? I don't even know. In certain situations, certain types of blended shoes can work really well (I've become quite fond of Sketcher's rubber-soled Mary Janes for example) but I don't think this is one of them.

i don't understand the hybrid boot/sandal myself. it's like someone couldn't decide between a boot & a sandal and wished they could wear both.

I think you'd need just that perfect Easter dress with marvelous cleavage to go with that hot pink color. If the color were slightly different it might be able to work with just an ordinary Easter dress.
