Love the concept, but I'm not wild about the slits on the side. They look too much like a manufacturing flaw.

That slit does look strange, but perhaps it'll help air off your feet! :P

It's an odd design choice. I had a pair along the same lines, I was trying to decide whether or not to post it with slits as a regular design element. They're so similar I'll just stick them here for you to look at, not for the challenge.

It works much better with this pair. The multiple slits are obviously intentional instead of looking an accident where the material didn't quite line up. I like the contrasting textures in the Naya and the the sculpting of the heel, but every time I see that slit I hate it a little bit more.
