These look like something that would be spotted by the Sartorialist. I think because Red on Red is so risky, and yet successful here IMO.

I check the Sartorialist a couple of times a week ;) He's interesting when he gets out of the Vogue/Elle axis. The shoes could easily be the sort of hipster outfit exclamation point he'd notice.

I think the red patent straps on red leather are so in your face that you just have to throw up your hands and give in.

I like the Sartorialist because he reminds me that details matter. Things that I assume nobody would notice, such as socks, often end up being the detail that really takes an outfit to the next level.
