shoesi don't just mean looking for something to try on or browsing through a site on-line, but also the process of trying them on and walking around in them to see if they fit right.
i don't, for a number of reasons;
#1 i'm a size 9 & that's fairly big for women's feet.
#2 said feet are also "wide width" & many shoes in your basic store (wal-mart, for example) don't have shoes in wide width, so i have to go to a 9 1/2 or a 10. or if they do have "wide width" available, it's sometimes not quite wide enough & i have to go to "wider width."
#3 i have a high top part of the foot (i forget what that's called) which makes it hard sometimes to get a good fitting shoe.
#4 i have thick calves, so most boots are out.
