Yeah, the black makes it pop too (I'm trying to visualize it, and thinking it would be quite flat if you replaced the black with yellow or any other soft shade).

These remind me of a lot of Barbie clothes and shoes that my sister had in the late 80s. I loathe most of the fashions that came from the 80s, so its rare for me to find something that evokes pleasant nostalgia like these do for me.
